for the case study "The Effects of Changing Working Conditions and
Government Policy on Canadian Teachers Formal and Informal Learning Practices"
"As
a member of the educational services/research staff at a large, active
educational union, I have served on Steering Committees of three SSHRC-funded
projects:the Network for New Approaches to Lifelong Learning (NALL) at
OISE, University of Toronto, 1996 - 2001, the Bridging the Solitudes CURA
project with York University and Seneca College, 1998 – present,
and the WALL Network, a Collaborative Research Initiative investigating
aspects of work and learning in various sectors of Canadian society ,
2002- 2006. I am also the co- author of the following: School Law 2002,
OSSTF, 2002 , Urban Studies, Prentice Hall, 1976, two NALL research papers
: “Teacher Learning, Informal and Formal: Results of a Canadian
Teachers' Federation Survey”and “ Informal/Formal Learning
and Workload Among Ontario Secondary School Teachers” (see www.nall.ca),
and numerous research papers and articles published in OSSTF Update."
