Research associate for
the case study "The School-to-Work Youth Transition Process" Her research interests include school-work youth transitions, school choice reforms, adult education, international / intercultural education, critical feminist pedagogy, and migrant labour issues. Sue has published and presented her research in Canada and the United States on a wide range of topics related to education. Presently, Sue is a Research Associate with the University of Alberta. She is conducting research with Dr. Alison Taylor on school-work youth transition (SWT) programs. They are doing a comparative examination of relevant policies and practices within the K-12 education systems in Ontario and Alberta. She is also currently researching with the Community-University Partnership for the Study of Children, Youth and Families on a project that investigates school choice and accountability in Canada. Sue is also editorial assistant for the International Journal of Curriculum and Instruction, World Council for Curriculum and Instruction. |
